Publication Ethics

JAMBI: Journal of Accounting, Management, and Islamic Business upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity throughout its publishing process. The journal adheres to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which outline responsibilities for authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

1. Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscript is an original work, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • Authors must provide accurate citations and references for all sources used.

  • Authors are responsible for the authenticity of data and honesty in presenting research findings.

  • All individuals who made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors, and all authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.

  • If a significant error is discovered after publication, authors must promptly notify the editor to correct or retract the article when necessary.

2. Editors’ Responsibilities

  • Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts will be published, based solely on academic merit and without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or political beliefs.

  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and the identities of authors and reviewers.

  • Editors must not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for their own research without written permission from the author.

  • Editors should ensure that the review process is fair, transparent, and unbiased.

3. Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Reviewers assist editors in evaluating the suitability of manuscripts for publication and provide constructive feedback to authors.

  • Reviewers must conduct evaluations objectively and professionally, without personal bias.

  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and refrain from using any information for personal gain.

  • Reviewers should identify any plagiarism or substantial similarity between the manuscript and other published works.

4. Publisher’s Responsibilities
